Planning & Delivering Safe Work (PDSW) Training

Network Rail’s Planning and Delivering Safe Work (PDSW) project has developed a series of changes that will radically improve the way work sites are managed and risks controlled across the rail industry. PDSW aims to ensure the industry has the right tools, roles and processes to support the Lifesaving Rule “Always hold a valid safe-system of work in place before going on or near the line.”

Benchmark is the only supply chain company delivering the PDSW courses listed below. We have delivered the courses across the length and breadth of the UK with exceptional feedback results since January 2015. The courses are delivered on client sites at a date and time of your choosing. Each course ensures that the people filling key roles have the knowledge, skills and competence to use the e-permitting system efficiently, and are also able to demonstrate the behaviours necessary to deliver their job role successfully under PDSW.

We provide Network Rail-approved initial, refresher, up-skilling training and ‘on the job’ support in the workplace for the PDSW job roles listed below.
